Second Servings is a project of Traditional Arts Indiana, the Folklore and Folklife center for the Hoosier State, but it’s a special project—which means that we’ve got so much to say about delicious food that we decided to make a whole separate thing of it.
At its heart, Second Servings is a podcast. We criss-cross the Crossroads of America to locate the tastiest traditional treats in the state. We do interviews, perform taste-tests, and roll the whole thing into an audio program for your entertainment. Keep yourself current on what’s happening with breaded pork tenderloin, turtle soup, and persimmon pudding by visiting the Home section of our website.
Second Servings is also a recipe clearinghouse. Do you want to find out about what your fellow Hoosiers are cooking? Do you want to share one of your own special dishes? Visit our Recipes section and get things started!
And there’s also Small Bites – this is where we keep some of our favorite morsels from the field. Check here for previews of upcoming shows and interview snippets that are just too good not to share immediately.
